A Peer Support Group for new Moms in Kitsap
Nurturing One Another is an welcoming, purposeful, supportive and advice-free peer support group for all folks in their perinatal period (expecting, newly postpartum, loss and or TTC). We strive to listen to understand - not respond. Our group is not religious or religiously affiliated.
Our group format follows the GROUP PEER SUPPORT (GPS) model including a review of group guidelines, a mindfulness rest stop, a check in question and or open sharing time, optional discussion prompts, and a brief closing activity. Learn more at https://grouppeersupport.org/gps-model/
We encourage you to come as you are and share what your experiences in your perinatal journey have been. Babies in arms are welcome to join us, though no childcare is available at this time.
We ask for $10 suggested donation paid via Venmo (@MeganMoonRiver) or cash, however no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Any donations made go to our facility and group expenses.
